The coming months may feel like a never-ending Throwback Thursday if Pantone's fall 2015 predictions prove to be true. According to the color authority, earthy neutrals (think: herby green and stormy gray) will mix with emboldened pastels (like orchid and apricot) on all manner of fashion pieces and home decor. And we get the feeling we've seen them somewhere before — in the '60s and '70s.

"Designers pay homage to progressive moments in American history — from the seductive '20s to the bohemian hippies and modernists of the '60s and '70s," Pantone says. "The colors are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security."

We say, it feels like one big garden party. And if that means prolonging these outdoor summer vibes, we can get with that.
