We love IKEA. As far as affordable, clean-lined furniture (and Swedish meatballs) go, it's just the tops. But, as many a quibbling husband and wife can report, if you're not paying attention, putting the pieces together can be ... difficult. Or hilarious, if you're a silver-lining type of person, like these Instagrammers who've joined in on a recent social media trend called #ikeafail. We hope they can laugh at their missteps, because we've certainly all been there.

Chalk it up to the IKEA effect: Concentrating on the instructions too hard might mean you forget what a chair looks like in 3D.
