Try Coffee Ice Cubes
Honestly Yum
Never drink watered-down coffee again. Freeze a tray of coffee overnight, then in the morning drop a few cubes into a cup and pour your milk of choice on top for an ice-cold caffeine boost.
Feeling fancy? Fill up an ice mold instead with frozen ribbons of coffee, half-and-half and chocolate milk. The cubes will then melt into a delicious iced mocha.
You don't have to go to the coffee shop to add a shot of vanilla (or coconut or caramel!) to your morning beverage. These riffs on simple syrup only call for four ingredients and are so much tastier than plain sugar.
The biggest hassle of making cold brew coffee is trying to strain your concoction after it's done steeping. But the filter in your French press makes that process pretty much obsolete.
All you need is five seconds to make this cold treat. Stir the powdered version of your favorite morning beverage with half and half and syrup for a thick sip — instead of watered-down weakness.
No fancy coffee machine, no problem. All you have to do is shake up milk in a jar to create foam, then give it a quick zap in your microwave to stabilize it.
If you prefer flavored creamer, this DIY cinnamon version tastes just like cinnamon rolls. But since you make a big batch at a time, follow the "use by" date on the sweetened condensed milk to monitor when it will expire.
Freeze milk on top and coffee on bottom for a cup of joe on a stick. This treat is best served on a hot summer afternoon or for a birthday breakfast "dessert."
If you don't own a coffee grinder, your blender will do the trick. Even better: You can use this appliance to grind up beans and make cold brew overnight too.
